Former Wildcat Jacob Alsadek signs 2-year contract with Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys may have lost their offensive lineman Marcus Martin for the season. Enter recent Arizona Football grad OL Jacob Alsadek. Martin tore a ligament in his big toe. Todd Archer, ESPN, reported that the injury was suffered in the preseason opener against the San Francisco 49ers where they lost by three points 21-24. Martin, put on the injured reserve, was signed as a backup guard/center for the Cowboys over the offseason.

Ironically Alsadek was cut by the Green Bay Packers after the team signed Byron Bell, a former Cowboys Tackle. Alsadek spent time since May with the Packers and former teammate Reggie Gilbert who has spent time on the Packers practice squad but was called up last season.
