Khalil Tate is getting a second chance to get his pro football career started. And like get first attempt, it won't be at the position he played in college.
The Philadelphia Eagles have signed Tate to a reserve/futures contract for 2021, bringing back a player they signed as an undrafted free agent last spring.
Tate was waived by the Eagles in July, prior to training camp, and did not sign with another team. He had several workouts with interested clubs, including the Arizona Cardinals prior to their season finale.
