The Arizona Wildcats’ version of Wally Pipp has had another career roadblock, one that might put an end to his college football life.
Brandon Dawkins, who started 13 games at quarterback for Arizona including the first five last season, has left Indiana’s football program. He had gone there as a graduate transfer for his final year of eligibility.
”We wish (Dawkins) nothing but the very best, fine young man,” Indiana coach Tom Allen said Monday, per the Indianapolis Star. He said Dawkins told him he’s “going in a different direction and wanted to sort some things out.
