Arizona’s baseball program refers to itself as an #MLBTrainingGround because of the number of players who have ended up in the big leagues. And that number is about to grow by one.
Tylor Megill, who played for the Wildcats from 2017-18, is set to make his Major League debut on Wednesday night for the New York Mets. The right-handed pitcher will start for the Mets against the Atlanta Braves.
An 8th-round pick of the Mets in 2018, the 25-year-old Megill will become the fourth UA alum currently in the bigs.
