It was a bit of a scary moment for former Arizona Basketball Coach Lute Olson, as the legendary coach suffered from a minor stroke over the weekend that left him hospitalized.
According to David Labiner, MD, chairman of the UA Department of Neurology, Olson “Is expected to make a full recovery, but will likely need some rehabilitation therapy after his discharge.”
News of Olson broke this afternoon via social media, as the status of Lute’s health became public. Now 84 years old, this is supposedly Olson’s second stroke since 2008.
