On Wednesday the Arizona men’s basketball Twitter account asked its followers to name a random former Wildcat.
For some reason the first player to pop into my mind was Kyryl Natyazhko, the Ukrainian big man and former five-star recruit who played sparingly at Arizona in Sean Miller’s first three seasons.
That got me thinking: What’s Kyryl up to these days?
Turns out he is playing professionally in his hometown as a backup big man for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk of the Ukrainian Superleague.
And when I say big man, I mean that quite literally because Natyazhko is an ABSOLUTE TANK these days:

Natyazhko was always pretty built, listed at 6-foot-11, 275 pounds in his final season at Arizona, but he hardly looks anything like he used to:

When Natyazhko’s basketball career comes to an end, Marvel should consider casting him as the next Thanos.
