Former Arizona Wildcats ace Taylor McQuillin picked up her first NPF win Friday, tossing a complete game in the Cleveland Comets’ 4-2 victory over the first-place Canadian Wild.
The left-hander allowed four hits and two walks while striking out seven. McQuillin had a shutout going until the fifth when she surrendered a solo home run to Tucson native and former Wisconsin standout Kelsey Jenkins.
