The Pac-12 is looking for a new home for its football championship game, which has been held at Santa Clara's Levi's Stadium, home of the NFL's San Francisco 49ers, since 2014.
The Pac-12 split into division for the 2011 season and the championship game was hosted by one of the conference members for three seasons before moving to the neutral site in Santa Clara.
The Pac-12 and Levi's Stadium issued a joint statement on the matter:
“The Pac-12 Conference and Levi’s Stadium have agreed to opt out of the final year (2020) of the agreement to hold the Pac-12 Championship Game at the venue.
