Arizona men’s basketball lumbered its way to a 61-42 victory over Northwestern State (La.) Sunday night at McKale Center.
The Wildcats, who extended their nation-leading home winning streak to 42 games, struggled all game to find a steady scoring rhythm. As a team, they connected on just 37 percent of field goal attempts.
Gabe York led Arizona in scoring for the second straight game, this time with 18 points. Allonzo Trier, making his first start, added 10 points while Dusan Ristic pitched in with nine points and a team-high 10 rebounds for a near double-double.
Arizona forward Ryan Anderson missed the game with an ankle sprain.
