ANAHEIM, CALIF: Arizona men’s basketball leads Boise State 35-26 at halftime of the Wooden Legacy third place game.
Allonzo Trier went perfect from the field in the first half and leads Arizona with eight points. Kadeem Allen added another seven points, while Mark Tollefsen and Ryan Anderson each added five.
Arizona and Boise State traded buckets for much of the half, as neither team’s lead grew to more than one possession until the 6:10 mark, when a York layup put the Wildcats ahead 26-22.
The UA expanded its lead in the half’s later minutes. Kadeem Allen’s floater right before buzzer pushed the lead to nine.
