Arizona football is tied with USC at 17-17 after one half of play in Los Angeles. The Wildcats jumped out to a 14-0 lead before the Trojans responded in the second quarter.
Both teams opened up the game sluggish, but Arizona managed to find the end zone first.
After going three-and-out in its first two drives, the Wildcats offense capitalized off a big play from the defense: a midfield fumble recovery by linebacker Jake Matthews that put Arizona in good scoring position.
Six plays later, Anu Solomon put Arizona on the board first with a seven-yard touchdown pass to Nate Phillips.
