Another Arizona Wildcat will earn his claws.
The Tampa Bay Rays announced on Twitter that the team will select the contract of Durham Bulls outfielder Johnny Field on Friday.
The former Wildcat will make his MLB debut in time for the Rays’ 2008 World Series rematch with the Philadelphia Phillies (who are led by former Wildcat Scott Kingery).

Field, 26, was drafted by the Rays in the fifth round of the 2013 MLB Draft after a very successful college career at Arizona.
