Eastern Kentucky graduate transfer Dujuanta ‘Tay’ Weaver committed to Saint Louis on Wednesday, possibly signaling that the Arizona Wildcats are done making offseason additions.
Weaver reportedly received an offer from Arizona recently despite the fact the Wildcats already have 13 scholarship players on their 2019-20 roster, the maximum allowed for Division I teams.
In other words, Arizona would have needed to clear another roster spot had it landed Weaver.
The 5-foot-10 guard averaged 10.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game last season in 29.
