LAS VEGAS-- Deandre Ayton carried the Wildcats with a career high 32 point, 14 rebound double-double as Arizona men’s basketball outlasted UCLA in overtime Friday in the T-mobile arena.
It was all Ayton in overtime. The big man scored all of the Wildcats overtime points. Ayton shot -for- from inside and hit a three in the first half. He looked like man among boys and had no trouble shooting over the smaller UCLA players.
Arizona initially had a two point lead with 15 seconds left in regulation when UCLA guard Jaylen Hands cut inside for a game tying layup.
