When it comes to the NBA, players are known for two things. Whether they are a superstar on the court by their excellent play, and if they are good enough their own shoe with whatever company they are part of. Many players are part of the Nike and Adidas label, with Lebron James being the biggest. However most recently, players have begun to look elsewhere with shoe deal. Just last year, arguably the most influential player in the league, Steph Curry took his talents to Under Armour, who are not commonly known for their basketball shoes.
It appears that potential number one pick Deandre Ayton will be following in the footsteps, albeit much bigger footsteps than Curry, as he has chosen to sign with Puma.
