Like most sports, analytics have taken over college basketball. Coaches have more information than ever before, and this is good. But as the game unfolds, sometimes it’s not realistic to digest everything, especially during timeouts.
Each time the whistle blows and teams retreat to their benches, game-operations staff members start printing out in-game stats to hand to coaches. Assistants usually glance them over before handing them to the head coach.
