Based on the hype surrounding the Arizona Wildcats back in the preseason, it wouldn’t have been surprising to see several players—offensively and defensively—be in the running for all-conference honors.
But at the midway point of the 2018 season, with Arizona at 3-4 and looking very much like a team that won’t be bowling in December, the individual accolades aren’t pouring in. In fact, they’re barely trickling.
Case in point: Pro Football Focus released its midseason All-Pac-12 team on Wednesday, identifying the league’s best (in terms of game grades) players at each position through the first seven weeks of the season.
