The 2018 season wasn’t a good one, by and large, for the Arizona Wildcats, save for a few individual accomplishments. J.J. Taylor finished second in the Pac-12 in rushing, earning him first-team all-conference honors, while Colin Schooler had the second-most tackles for loss in the league.
Yet Schooler didn’t get similar recognition from the Pac-12 as did Taylor, despite his efforts, only managing an honorable mention nod.
Maybe 2019 will be different. ESPN seems to think so, including the Arizona linebacker on its “too-early college football 2019 All-American team.
