It’s been a great sophomore year for Lauri Markkanen, albeit one that began late because of an elbow injury.
But following a medical scare on Tuesday night and no postseason play on the docket, the Chicago Bulls have decided to shut down the former Arizona standout for the final few games.

The 7-foot Markkanen played 16 minutes on Tuesday in Toronto before leaving with what was diagnosed as “an episode of a rapid heart rate and fatigue,” per Yahoo!
