Showtime! Channing Frye was on FIRE tonight. He came off the bench and delivered a stellar performance for the Los Angeles Lakers, who have now swept the San Antonio Spurs this season 3-0. Don’t tell this old man he doesn’t got the goods any more, because he does. After playing in the NBA for 14 season, Frye can still perform at a high level he just needed the right coach maybe.
In only his sixth active game with the Lakers, Frye was just about perfect. He finished the game with 19 points, 8-9 from the field, 3-3 from 3pt range, four rebounds, one assist and one block in 26 minutes of play off the bench.
