The No.1 recruit in the class of 2017 will soon make his debut for the Wildcats, but as a true freshman, what are some realistic expectations of Deandre Ayton?
To be blunt, Ayton is good, I mean really good! Arizona has never had a player ranked as highly as Ayton play here, so coming in, the expectations are high.
With the team now in Spain, the players have already been working out and practicing together, and early on, head coach Sean Miller has had high praise for the Caribbean native.
“I have never anybody like him at his age, I don’t think I ever will again, it’s just because he’s so physically imposing,” Miller said.
