Bryan Penn-Johnson commits to Washington

Another 2018 recruit is off the board.

Four-star big man Bryan Penn-Johnson has committed to the Washington Huskies, he announced Monday.

The 7-footer is the No. 98 prospect in the country and No. 7 center, according to 247Sports composite rankings.

Penn-Johnson was thought to be picking between DePaul and Washington, but he had an offer from the Arizona Wildcats (and several other schools) as well.

The Mount Pleasant, Utah product was one of the top remaining prospects on the board, so there had been some hope that Arizona could reemerge as a factor in his recruitment, but obviously that won’t be happening.
