LAS VEGAS - The Arizona Wildcats have decided to attack the Pac-12 Tournament like it’s one of those lavish buffets on the Strip.
“We go to Las Vegas hungry, eager and excited to play,” coach Sean Miller said.
It’s the right approach. More than any other conference tournament during Miller’s seven seasons in Tucson, this one could have a significant impact on how the NCAA Tournament selection committee views the Wildcats. And with a college basketball postseason expected to be more unpredictable than it has been in years, any advantage is welcome.
The smart money is on Arizona.
