Arizona beach volleyball completed its season sweep against its in-state rivals, Arizona State, this evening in its final road trip of the regular season, after defeating the Sun Devils by a score of 3-2 in Tempe, Ariz.
The Sand Cats’ down-to-the-wire win against Arizona State was spearheaded by the two-set sweep by the No. 3 pair, Stephany Purdue and Hailey Devlin. The experienced, senior Wildcat tandem defeated Arizona State’s Katelyn Carballo and Ellyson Lundberg 21-15 in the first set and 21-18 in the second set.
Sophomore Olivia Hallaran returned to the lineup this evening after an undisclosed injury to play with her partner-in-crime, Kacey Nady.
