Good news is hard to come by these days, but the Arizona Wildcats got some Monday when Jamarye Joiner’s mother announced that the redshirt sophomore wide receiver is fully healed from the foot surgery he underwent in mid-May.
It is believed that Joiner suffered a Jones fracture in the spring, which caused him to miss Arizona’s lone week of camp before it was shutdown by the coronavirus crisis.
With Arizona’s 2020 opener now scheduled for Sept. 26, Joiner should have plenty of time to recover and be ready to roll for kickoff.
