Things are definitely on the up and up for the Arizona Women’s Soccer team. Since taking over the team in 2012 (2013 being his first season), head coach Tony Amato has helped to elevate the reputation of the Wildcats, as well as the play, compiling a 67-40-15 record (not including this season).
However, now in his seventh season in Tucson, he’s got the Cats off to one of their best starts this year, and it’s exciting to see!
Fresh off a season in which Arizona finished the year 13-6-2, and went to the second round of the NCAA playoffs (their fourth Tournament appearance in six seasons), coach Amato should once again have a solid group.
