Winners get rewarded, and that’s exactly what happened for Arizona Women’s Golf head coach, Laura Ianello. After the Wildcats won the National Championship just weeks ago, Ianello now will be signing a contract extension.
After spending the previous eight seasons with the Wildcats, how bout five more? The veteran coach agreed to a five-year contract extension just a few days ago which was announced by the school.
Well deserved for the head coach, as Ianello helped to guide the Wildcats to their programs’ third National Title this past season, their first since 2000.
If you may recall, the Wildcats had a remarkable run this past season, where they knocked off UCLA and Stanford to reach the title.
