The Wildcats snap their seven-game losing streak by defeating the WSU Cougars for the second time this year.
On Sunday, the Arizona Women’s Basketball team improved to 12-13 (3-11) on the year, already matching last years’ conference win total.
As we’ve been following this year, it’s a bit of a rebuilding project for new head coach, Adia Barnes. The former Wildcat standout has done an admirable job guiding the Wildcats in a very tough conference, already matching and potentially even surpassing last years’ totals in just her first season as coach.
Competitively speaking, Arizona has done a much better job this year in competing against some of the conference’s stronger teams.
