Arizona Women’s Basketball is trending upwards. Just a few years removed from some pretty miserable seasons, and the Wildcats may soon have a few players in the WNBA, one of those being Dominique McBryde.
As you may recall, McBryde came here just a few seasons ago as a transfer from Purdue, and since then, she has done some fantastic things.
Appearing in 61 games, 58 that she started in, McBryde finished her career in Tucson with 429 points (7.0 avg), 260 rebounds (4.3 avg), 81 steals (1.3 avg) and 43 blocks (0.7 avg)!
She was a big part of Arizona’s success, especially as the team went a combined 48-20 (19-17) over that last two seasons, including an NIT Championship, a fourth place finish in the Pac-12 and a would have been NCAA Tournament (*cancelled due to Corona Virus).
