Arizona Wildcats sophomore running back J.J. Taylor was named a First Team All-Pac-12 honoree on Tuesday.
Taylor was among five Wildcats earning All-Conference recognition, joining honorable mention selections PJ Johnson, Shawn Poindexter, Thomas Reid III and Colin Schooler.
The 5-foot-6, 184-pound Taylor is the first Wildcat to earn First Team All-Pac-12 honors since linebacker Scooby Wright III in 2014. The last offensive player to earn first team accolades was running back Ka’Deem Carey, who did so in consecutive seasons from 2012-13.
A native of Corona, Calif., Taylor ranks sixth nationally and second in the Pac-12 with 1,434 rushing yards this season.
