ASU basketball players and coaches have been quick to praise its fans for the support at Wells Fargo Arena this season.
But Arizona players noticed Thursday night, too.
Several commented on the atmosphere after the Wildcats' 77-70 win over the Sun Devils on Thursday night.
A season high 14,233 were at the game in Tempe, giving the Sun Devils an average home attendance of 10,441 this season. That is third in the Pac-12.
“It was probably one of the best away crowds we’ve had all year,” Arizona's Allzonzo Trier told the Arizona Daily Star's Bruce Pascoe.
