There are plenty of great former Arizona Wildcats football players, but Rob Gronkowski might just be at the top of the list.
Rob Gronkowski – Gronk – has been a force in the NFL for a decade. But before he was making plays with New England and Tampa Bay on Sundays, he was dominating on Saturdays for the Arizona Wildcats.
Gronkowski spent three years with the Wildcats, playing in 22 games and catching 75 passes for 1,197 yards and 16 touchdowns. The yardage is an Arizona record for a tight end. He was also a Freshman All-American.
