The Arizona Wildcats overcame an extremely slow start in Pullman and came away with an important road win, defeating the Washington State Cougars, 79-64, improving to 6-4 in conference play.
Wednesday was supposed to be the night where Arizona got a very valuable member of its team back. But, as it was announced earlier in the day, Allonzo Trier was inactive for the game. On top of that, Kadeem Allen didn't start, as he was feeling under the weather.
The entire team appeared to be under the weather for the first ten minutes of the first half, as they only mustered nine points in that time on 4/17 shooting from the floor.
