The Arizona Wildcats have found their man, and it’s probably not someone UA fans were expecting.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Arizona is hiring New England Patriots quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch as its next head coach, replacing Kevin Sumlin, who was fired on Dec. 12 after going 9-20 over his three seasons.
Patriots’ QB coach Jedd Fisch is being named the new head coach at the University of Arizona, per @FieldYates and me. Arizona expected to announce hire today.
Fisch now will replace recently fired HC Kevin Sumlin while the Patriots lose another assistant.
