It is still UA’s highest ranking since the 1997-98 season when the Wildcats rose as high as No. 7 in the AP poll.
Arizona (19-4, 8-4) knocked off No. 9 Oregon State in overtime Sunday, a terrific response from a blowout loss to No. 3 Oregon on Friday.
The Beavers dropped to No. 11 in the AP poll, receiving two more votes than the Wildcats.
