On senior day, Arizona State football realized they had not had the season they expected. After being eliminated from playoff contention, they were taken out from the Pac-12 shortly after. The only goal that remained for the Sun Devils was to defeat their arch-rival Arizona Wildcats.
Quarterback Mike Bercovici had a huge first half, and finished the game with 315 yards and two touchdowns in his last home game. Arizona State picked off two passes for touchdown which led them to a tremendous 52-37 victory.
