No. 7 Arizona run-ruled Texas-Arlington 9-1 in six innings on Sunday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to go undefeated in the Easton Crimson Classic, but lost a key player in the process.
Starting catcher Sharlize Palacios was transported to the hospital after being in a collision at home plate in the second inning. The good news is Palacios had movement in all extremities and will travel back with the team to Tucson where she will undergo further testing.
