Mariah Lopez is playing the best softball of her career and she knows why.
“I have finally found my niche and I’m really happy with where I’m at,” she said. “Regardless of the wins or losses, it’s just a really fun environment. And I’m feel like I’m finally flourished.”
It’s not that Lopez wasn’t happy at Oklahoma, it’s just that she, as she said, is “really happy” at Arizona where she has made a smooth transition into the circle.
“In fact a seamless one,” Arizona coach Mike Candrea said. “And I think a lot of it was because she’s played with a lot of these kids, and I’m just really happy where she’s at right now.
