In another doubleheader at the Wildcat Invitational, Arizona softball went 2-0 for the second consecutive day by beating No. 24 SC Upstate, 3-0, and then beating Wisconsin, 9-3, on Saturday, March 10 at Hillenbrand Stadium.
Junior Taylor McQuillin got the start on the mound against SC Upstate, and went the whole game, allowing four hits and striking out nine in 24 batters faced.The Wildcats got their damage done in the bottom of the fourth. Sophomore Malia Martinez hit a two run home run to center field, before sophomore Dejah Mulipola hit an RBI single into left and scored fellow sophomore Reyna Carranco, making it 3-0 Wildcats.
