For the 17th time in Jada Talley’s college career, the standout forward found the back of the net at Arizona’s Mulcahy Stadium. But on Sunday, Talley scored at Mulcahy for the first time as an opposing player.
Now with the USC Trojans, Talley returned to Tucson Sunday for the first time since transferring from Arizona this offseason. Fittingly, it was Tailey who scored the go-ahead goal in the 69th minute of the Trojans’ 4-1 come-from-behind victory.
The loss drops the Wildcats to 3-7 overall and 0-3 in Pac-12 play in Becca Moros’ first season as head coach.
