BERKELEY, Calif. – The Arizona Wildcats broke out of shooting slumps inside and out in a 68-52 win over California on Thursday at Haas Pavilion.
Having missed 18 straight 3-pointers, including the first one he tried Thursday, Dylan Smith proceeded to make his next four long-range shots. Inside, Zeke Nnaji and the Wildcats also broke free from a horrific inside slump, when they went 3 for 19 from two in the first half of a loss to UCLA last Saturday.
Nnaji finished with 21 points on 8 for 13 shooting while collecting five rebounds and the Wildcats hit 54.
