Arizona president speculates on delayed start for college football

The college football season is set to start about four months from now. But, even if students are on campus this fall, one power five program still may not take the field. USA TODAY

Arizona president Robert Robbins speculated during a radio interview Wednesday that the college football season will not begin as scheduled.

During an interview with Bill Buckmaster on KVOI in Tucson, Robbins said he is waiting to hear on NCAA and Pac-12 plans but that "it just seems as though if we do play football, it's going to be delayed. I've heard nothing.
