In the least surprising news ever, Arizona Wildcats star guard Aari McDonald told the Arizona Daily Star that she is going pro at the end of the season.
McDonald is currently projected to be the No. 8 pick in ESPN’s 2021 WNBA mock draft. She has said she was leaning toward entering the draft last year, but a leg injury and the NCAA Tournament being cancelled by the coronavirus pandemic swayed her to return to Arizona for her redshirt senior season.
McDonald is currently averaging 18.
