Arizona football head coach Jedd Fisch has said he wants to see a full crowd at homes games this fall.
Time will tell whether or not that’s realistic, but at least it’s now a possibility.
Arizona Athletics, Pima County Health and the University of Arizona are planning for 100 percent capacity at Arizona Stadium for home football games. Tailgating will be allowed to resume, as well.
“Our athletics department has been deliberate in its phased approach to fan attendance throughout the spring, and this announcement of full capacity for 2021 football season is the exciting completion of our diligent process,” said Athletic Director Dave Heeke in a statement.
