Outside expectations are much more tempered for the Arizona Wildcats heading into Kevin Sumlin’s second season as head coach.
The UA was picked to finish fifth in the Pac-12 South in the preseason media poll, which was released Wednesday at the conference’s media day. The results are determined by the votes of 35 media members.
The Wildcats were picked to finish third in the South last season, and they finished tied for third with the USC Trojans after compiling a 4-5 conference record.
