The Arizona Wildcats have put an emphasis on recruiting their home state ever since Kevin Sumlin took over the program, but they were a little late to the party for local lineman Bruno Fina.
The Wildcats offered the Salpointe Catholic product Monday, roughly one week from when he received offers from the UCLA Bruins and the USC Trojans.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound guard is a three-star prospect in 247Sports’ 2020 composite rankings.
Fina’s father, John, was an all-conference offensive lineman and co-captain at the UA in 1991, before being picked by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 1992 NFL Draft.
