In this recruiting season, we're starting to see Rich Rodriguez go after more junior college products, particularly on defense. One of the more recent offers went to Riverside City College linebacker AJ Hotchkins.
Hotchkins was originally a two-star recruit from Portland, Oregon. He signed with the Wyoming Cowboys, declining offers from Idaho, Montana, Northern Colorado and Portland State. However, for whatever reason, he elected to go to Riverside City College after high school.
After spending his freshman year at Riverside, he accumulated 101 tackles, three sacks, one forced fumble and an interception returned for a touchdown.
