The Arizona Wildcats are one of several teams that have inquired about Cornell grad transfer Stone Gettings, according to his AAU coach Ryan Silver.
The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 16.7 points and 6.6 rebounds for the Big Red this season, shooting 49 percent from the field, 37 percent from 3, and 83 percent from the free-throw line.
Gettings has one year of eligibility left and can play immediately. The Malibu, California native was second-team All-Ivy League in 2017-18, and had three 30-point outings and 11 20-point games with five double-doubles.
Gettings was one of only two players to rank in the top 10 in the Ivy League in points (sixth), rebounds (third) and assists (ninth), as well as sitting in the top 10 in field goal percentage (10th), free-throw percentage (sixth) and defensive rebounds (third).
