For the second straight week, a Pac-12 Player of the Week resides in Tucson.
Last week it was Arizona Wildcats guard Jemarl Baker Jr. who won the award on the men’s side.
This time it’s Aari McDonald who is taking it home on the women’s side for the sixth time in her career.
The redshirt senior averaged 21.5 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3.5 steals per game in Arizona’s first-ever road sweep of Colorado and Utah.
McDonald scored 21 of her 24 points against Colorado in the second half of a tight 62-59 win, including some critical free throws down the stretch.
