LOS ANGELES — The Arizona Wildcats were the talk of college football for a quarter and a half Saturday before they learned just how fleeting fame can be. USC's Jon Plattenburg intercepted Anu Solomon deep at the Trojans' 28-yard line, then Cody Kessler found JuJu Smith-Schuster for a 72-yard touchdown and, like that, the Trojans climbed back in the game. USC and Arizona are tied 17-17 at the half.
Arizona led 14-0, sparked by a a stellar first quarter. Solomon hit Nate Phillips for a nine-yard touchdown pass and the UA defense made consecutive stops.David Roberts then caught a 3-yard touchdown pass, making it a two-score game.
